CERTIFICATE OF LIMITED WARRANTY

Storm Guard Hurricane Protection, an AMA Shutters, Inc. Company warrants solely to the original Customer that all shutters are free from latent and inherent defects effective from __________ to ____________. THE OBLIGATION OF STORM GUARD HURRICANE PROTECTION UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. In no event shall liability or claim for damages arising out of or connected with the contract, manufacture, sale, delivery, service or use of any of the products ever exceed the price paid therefore. Claims made by the Customer pursuant to this Limited Warranty must be made in writing to the office of Storm Guard Hurricane Protection. If Storm Guard Hurricane Protection determines that a claim is valid pursuant to this Limited Warranty, at its option, will either repair or replace the damaged part. This Limited Warranty does not cover material finish, caulking or any damages resulting from failure of the Customer to follow instructions for operation and maintenance as detailed below, nor does this Limited Warranty provide for deterioration and/or peeling of finished surfaces resulting from normal operation, exposure to sun, salt or abrasion, nor shall it cover minor blemishes incurred in manufacturing, shipping and installation. The Customer must perform the maintenance as detailed below in order for the provisions of this Limited Warranty to be enforceable. A one-year warranty on labor is provided by Storm Guard Hurricane Protection.
INSTRUCTIONS IN THE HOME MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF YOUR PRODUCT
Folding Shutter System

Open and close shutters at least once every 6 months, agitating all moving parts including wheels and locks.

Remove all debris and apply silicone or other light lubricant to the upper track to prevent sticking and freezing.

Apply wax lubricant to all tracks, wheels, hinges and locks every 4-6 months to insure smooth and proper operation. Special attention must be given to the hinge areas of the vertical louver blades to remove excess dirt, salt, debris, etc.
Bahama and Colonial Shutters

Open and close shutters at least once every 6 months, agitating all moving parts.

Apply silicone or other light lubricant to all moving parts, hinges and hinge pins. Remove excessive dirt, salt, debris, etc. to eliminate buildup.
CLEANING
All products should be cleaned at least once every 6 months, more often if close proximity to the hazards of salt water. This may be done with a sponge and a mild detergent diluted with water, applied via a garden hose attachment if possible. TO help prevent deterioration, a spray wax can also be applied for added protection.
DO NOT FORCE SHUTTERS TO CLOSE
